This is one of a series of paintings I am working on. Each is in oils, most with impasto work added. I am attempting to subdue my palette to see where this may lead me. Lots of fun experimenting and pulling out colors I seldom use and mixing new combinations.

Made the front page of etsy today with this painting.

AWAKENED

This is the first of a new series I am working on.A more subdued and earthy palette for me. I've had a leaning toward earthy greens.burnt sienna..rusty muted colors the past month. Now this is a real change for me. These new paintings are all abstract expressionist..inspired by dreams, the seasons and full moons.
